A Message From Our Sheriff
" The mission of the Sussex County Sheriff's Office is to professionally and efficiently serve and protect the citizens of the county in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth and United States Constitution. The Sheriff's Office will strive to promote pride and respect for the judicial system through the equal and impartial protection of it's citizens, with proficient service of civil process, by providing a safe environment to conduct court proceedings, and maintaining safe and secure detention of those persons entrusted to the Sheriff's custody."
